Top 5 FREE Job Boards for College Students

The new academic year is fast approaching. That means Fall career fairs are just around the corner. Here are my top 5 recommendations to land that next experience.

  1. Handshake is the OG college career job board. The jobs posted on the platform must be geared towards college students, which helps students break through the noise and scams on the other job boards. It’s free to make an account

  2. Ripplematch is a college job board that boasts a diverse talent pool. Employers post opportunities on Ripplematch if they are looking to increase the diversity of their talent. Accounts are free for students.

  3. WayUp, the job board from Yello, rounds out the college student-specific job boards. Yello, the creator of National Intern Day and the Top 100 Internship Programs and Interns has a recruitment platform being adopted by employers. So it only makes sense for the employers that use Yello’s platform to post on their job board WayUp. Again, it’s free for students to make an account.

  4. The Prime Potential Discord server in three months has over 900 posts of internships, entry-level roles, scholarships, events, and more. I started the server to provide students with not only the latest opportunities but often also a direct person to contact connected to the role or the organization. Signing up is free with a Discord account.

  5. LinkedIn has transformed from the site it was when I joined. Recruiters post their internships and entry-level positions on LinkedIn because the site is all about employment. Once again, it’s free to register

*Honorable mentions, Indeed, Glassdoor, and ZipRecruiter are also job boards with the occasional internship or entry-level position. Be cautious of scams! These sites are prone to them. If it sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly is.

Good luck landing your next role!
